Terms of Service
The deal, in plain English. If anything here surprises you, tell us — that's a bug in the terms, not in you.
The service
- Colega lets a building create meeting rooms and lets the people its reception invites book them. That's the product; these terms don't smuggle in another one.
- Buildings pay a flat monthly price, invoiced. No per-seat counting, no card details in the product, no auto-renewing lock-ins.
- Pilots are free, time-limited by agreement, and end when either side says so.
What we ask of you
- Book rooms you intend to use, and check in when you use them — the whole system exists so rooms don't sit empty under someone's name.
- Follow your building's own house rules; they're linked on your bookings and they belong to the building, not to us.
- Don't probe, break, or misuse the service, and don't invite people who shouldn't have access — your building's list is your building's responsibility.
What you can hold us to
- We run the service with care, tell you honestly when something breaks, and never sell or mine your data — the Privacy Policy is part of these terms.
- There is no contractual uptime guarantee; Colega runs on Cloudflare's network and has no server of its own to fall over, but that's an architecture, not a promise.
- Colega is a booking board, not a system of record for safety-critical anything. Our liability is capped at what your building paid us in the last twelve months; nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says can't be limited.
Leaving
Stop any time. Ask and you receive: a full export of your building's members, rooms and bookings, or complete deletion of everything. It leaves the live service at once and ages out of the platform’s 30-day recovery window after that; if your own admin starts it, it waits 7 days first so any admin can call it off. No exit fees, no retention games.
Changes and contact
If these terms change materially, buildings are told before the change applies. Questions: legal at meetcolega dot com.
